CONCRETE TO GRANITE

Your festival ticket is With your festival ticket join us in a variety of mixers around Salt Lake City sponsored by our 2024 partners to engage with the community and build your stoke for the festival in the Uintas over the weekend.

Morning Alignment Flow with momentum

Instructor: Kristina Helland

Class Description

Alignment Flow Yoga. This all levels class will help improve alignment, flexibility, breath and strength. By using a variety of yoga poses to target the muscles that are used in climbing, we'll bring a focus to proper alignment that will help you climb more efficiently and safely.

Climbing Meet up with Color the Wasatch

Join Color the Wasatch for a FREE day of climbing and community. Please note that this is not a guided session, and no official climbing instruction will be provided. That being said, we will lean on authentic mentorship within this community. If you’d like to carpool, meet at 10:00 AM at Camp Roger at the Color the Wasatch Booth. This event is FREE to attend with your festival ticket.

Recharge and Restore Yoga for Climbers with Bouldering Project

Instructor: Karen Tao

Join us for a rejuvenating 45-minute restorative yoga class designed specifically for climbers seeking deep relaxation and recovery after a long day at the crag. Led by our experienced yoga instructor, Karen Tao, this class offers a sanctuary of tranquility and restoration. During this class, you will be guided through a sequence of gentle poses that target areas of tension and fatigue commonly experienced by climbers. By incorporating mindful breathing techniques and deep relaxation exercises, you will release muscular tension, enhance flexibility, and promote a profound sense of well-being. 

A limited number of yoga mats will be available. If you have one, please bring your own

Flow + Sound Bath at the olympus Yurt

Facilitators: Amy Cairn and Ashley Brown

Immerse yourself in the restorative power of sound and be transported into a deeply relaxing, meditative state in this 60-minute workshop led by special guest, Amy Cairn. The vibrations created by sound interact with every cell in the body, naturally lowering brainwave activity, reducing inflammation and boosting the body's natural self-healing response. Participants will leave feeling calm, centered, balanced, open, at ease and with a renewed sense of mental wellbeing. Amy is Level 1 Certified Sound Healer, lover of nature and all things furry and kind.

Discover the delicate details of hang boarding with The Stone Project, Our hang board training is great for all skill levels offering insightful tips on how to train or if you are just getting started from seasoned experts. If you are interested in learning more come join us!

Local Climbing Accidents & Rescue Considerations

An evening panel presentation on local climbing accidents and rescue operations with a tribute to mental health awareness. Hear from local climbers, Search and Rescue, and mental health professionals about their stories and reflections.

Morning Vinyasa with Momentum

Instructor: Beth Easton

CLASS DESCRIPTION

This playful slow vinyasa class will incorporate gentle fluid movements with grounding stretches geared towards climbers. Breathwork and meditation will be incorporated to help yogis stay present. And of course we will have some rocking tunes to grove to!  Class will be all appropriate for all levels.

A limited number of yoga mats will be available. If you have one, please bring your own.
